In the video I mentioned that I named some topics, but not all. Here are some others that are important to remember

C is for: -Featuring WINNERS of 2x GC2B Binder Giveaway-

-"Clocked," Coming out (to yourself, family, partner, work), Cisgender, Child birth, Closeted

"Clocked" a term for when other people look someone up and down to try to determine if they are transgender or not. I give an example of myself and how individuals "clock" (or have "clocked" me). It is very common all over the world, and even in the LGBTQI+ community. We do not need to look transgender to be transgender, and that is another stigma we will need to work on. Coming out describes an individual telling others about their gender identity and/or sexual orientation. This can happen in their personal lives (home, family, friends) and in the workplace. In the video I describe how I came out and why. I 100% recommend that method as it is easiest on all parties. Coming out is a very big decision, so don't feel pressured. Whether you are "out" (short for "coming out") or "in the closet" (short for "closeted"- see below for more)- you are 100% valid. Cis(gender) Someone who identifies with the gender they were assigned at birth (short for “cisgender"). Child Birth is a exactly what it sounds like. It is important to realize that transmen can still have babies and have children. It is beautiful and empowering and we need to erase the stigma. Closeted is when an individual keeps their gender identity and/or sexual orientation private (a secret) from others. An individual may do this for many different reasons. In some cases, they don't live in an area (or country) that is supportive and they can be "in the closet" due to physical threats and safety concerns. An individual may do this at their job or work place to avoid discrimination, retaliation, and possibly losing their job. An individual may do this because they don't have supportive family or friends. An individual may do this because they aren't confident in their decision, but most importantly, an individual can do this because they WANT to. Regardless if they are "out" or "in the closet"- that individual is still 100% valid. *I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice or medical guidance. This is based off my personal experience and perspective. There are more topics in the LBTQ+ community, but these are the topics that were general to choose.*
